You’ll play an important role in making sure shipments reach their destinations safely and on time while working with a team that supports its drivers and values their contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial trucks safely while transporting freight on local and long-distance routes.
- Complete detailed vehicle inspections before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns as needed.
- Keep accurate records of driving hours, mileage, deliveries, and cargo in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Observe all traffic laws, company guidelines, and required safety practices while on the road.
- Maintain professional communication with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers to keep deliveries organized and resolve problems quickly.
Requirements & Experience:
- Current Class A CDL and a satisfactory driving history.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on commercial driving experience.
- Good working knowledge of DOT requirements and commercial vehicle safety regulations.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to stay productive and responsible while working independently.
